Home Quarantine Instructions
  1.  Stay home                                                                                                                            You should restrict activities outside your home, except for getting medical care. Do not go to work, school or public areas, and do not use public transportation or toms.
  2. Separate yourself from other people in your home.
    As much as possible you should stay in a different room from other people is your home, also you should use a separate bathroom if available.
  3. Monitor your temperature three times per day!

  4. Call ahead before visiting your doctor
    If you develop fever (temperature of 380c or higher) or respiratory symptom (call the Emergency Department (ED) to inform them that you will be going to the ED for assessment.

  5. Wear a face mask
    You should do face mask when you are in the same room with other people and when you visit a healthcare provider. If you cannot wear o face mask the people who live with you should wear one while they are in the same room with you.

  6. Cover your coughs and Sneezes
     Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or Sneezes, or you can cough or Sneezes into your sleeve. Throw used tissues in a lined trash con and immediately wash your hands with soap and running water at least 20 seconds.
  7. Wash your hands
    Wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. You can use on alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available and your hands are not visibly dirty. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth hand.
  8. Avoid sharing household items
    You should not share dishes, drinking glasses, cups, eating utensils towel, bedding or other items with other people in your home. After using these items you should wash them thoroughly with soap and water.
  9. 9 Monitor your symptoms
    Seek prompt medical attention if you illness is worsening (e.g. difficulty breathing). Before going to the E. D CALL ahead to tell them that you are on home Quarantine for monitoring of symptoms of COVID-19. This will help the Emergency department prepare for your arrival.
